I recommend all of our clients begin with a Design Consultation. During this initial meeting, we can assess your needs, take a look at the space you’re working on and can provide you with some suggestions to enhance the room (or rooms). If you’re looking for some paint suggestions or general ideas, this meeting may be enough to get you going. If you decide you’d like to schedule a redesign after this initial consultation, the cost of the consultation will be credited toward the redesign. I’m really looking for window treatments for my home. Can you help with that?

Absolutely! We are a full service interior decorating firm, and can design windows treatments, and have those treatments fabricated and installed. Because of my experience as a handbag designer, I can also show you ways to make store-bought window treaments look custom! Fabric is a real obsession of mine!

What is the difference between redesign/decorating and staging?

I would describe them as opposites, really. On the one hand, they both work to make your home visually appealing, but when I decorate or redesign, I’m working to incorporate your personality into the room. In staging, I’m looking to get your personality out of the space so that a potential buyer can envision themselves in your house. It can be hard to emotionally distance yourself from the place you’ve lived - especially if you’re downsizing - but it’s important to remember that, as soon as you put your home on the market - it becomes a commodity. Staging will help you get the best price, quickly - so that you can go on and enjoy the new home you’re heading to.
